Getting Plex to NOT update unmatched movies on scan?

Okay, maybe kind of a weird question, but as it says on the tin. When scanning a library, is it possible to have Plex not fill in data for movies it doesn’t match, instead of trying to figure out what the movie is (and usually failing because I haven’t added the movie to TMDB yet)?

As an example: I just added Vincenzo Cervoni’s Love Story (Love Story (2005) — The Movie Database (TMDB)) recently, after I’d done my last scan. Since it wasn’t there, Plex attempted to come up with a reasonable match and had it listed as Spencer Susser’s A Love Story (A Love Story (2005) — The Movie Database (TMDB)), which is a reasonable guess given that both are less than ten minutes long and both were released in 2005–but is still incorrect, and I didn’t notice until I hit play and got something entirely different than I was expecting given the synopsis.

In other words: is it possible to turn off the “guess” algorithm and have Plex update only things it KNOWS are correct (e.g., that have TMDB or IMDB IDs in the folder name) and just pass everything else through? Pretty sure I know the answer, but thought I’d ask anyway.

After explicitly “Unmatch”-ing an item, Plex should no longer attempt to match it.
This is at least true when using the modern agent (Plex Movie).
