Server Version#: The last few for about 6 months
Player Version#: ? Not sure.
I had one friend that I would regularly watch movies with and often she would get a “Not allowed” or “Not given access yet” or some similar message when I did a watch together.
Often this was solved with her logging out and back in a couple of times. Basically, just futzing around. I assumed it had something to do with her setup because I never had an issue.
Recently, I had another friend that I added and tried the watch together in my Shows library and it happened to him, in my 3D movie library this was not an issue.
Since it has now happened with 2 friends I have to assume it has something to do with my server but I have no idea what.
The only restrictions I have put on them is I don’t share all my libraries, I save them the pain of personal photos and such but certainly shows, movies etc. they have full access to as far as I know.
I’m hoping someone has some idea what this might be. Like I said, if they futz around they get access. Well, my first friend, my 2nd friend we haven’t tried that enough to say one way or another but I suspect it will be the same.
My shows library is the largest library I have so perhaps that has something to do with it if there could be timing issues, my video is still on hard drives (RAID5).
