Boggles my mind I have had to resort to Phlex. Alexa worked great, but I switched to Google Home to get better use of the Chrome Casts.

Believed in you guys since Jan 2014… bought Android license and 1 month later bought lifetime Plex pass. I’d even buy an assistant pass to help you fund this… or donate some development time… or whatevs… just make this happen soon k thanks!

I assumed that it was already working. I just bought a 3 pack. I guess I’ll sit around watching news and listen to podcasts until it’s integrated.

Every time I get an update from plex, I hope it is the one announcing google home integration. I love everything about plex, except for this!

They already said Google limits the API too much, I think it’s about music mostly.
Have you tried emby’s current implementation? Barely usable. If Plex came out with that the forums would implode.

I have been using flex tv integration to get plex to work. Very cool !
A limited implementation would be appreciated at the very least.
If I can tell Google to play King Of The Hill on Netflix in the Livingroom, I should be able to tell Google to Play Deadpool 2 on Plex in the Livingroom.
Definitely agree, but again try emby and see how it works. Google’s API doesn’t allow the use to be like Netflix’s and YouTube’s… Can’t even cast to Chromecast at this point.
I blame Plex for A LOT of problems, this isn’t one of them.
