Google Play Store keeps trying to update Amazon version of Plex

Player Version#: 10.7.0.5386
Hi,
I have a Plex Pass via Amazon. Since a couple of weeks ago the Google Play Store reports an error in updating Plex. While this is understandable (as Plex had been installed from the Amazon App Store, not the Google Play Store) Google Play actually should not even suggest or try to update Plex, but it does and I see no way to stop Google Play from trying to update Plex. By the way, the update via the Amazon App Store on the current version showed no issues, so I am running the most recent version already, but still Google Play suggests an update, but only completes the update attempt with the error message Plex could not be installed (in German).
So, I uninstalled Plex for Android and installed it from the Google Play Store. This works nicely, but of course I cannot use my Plex Pass, so this is no solution for me.
I uninstalled Plex again and reinstalled from the Amazon App Store. The installation process ends with a message sayint that this version of Plex is not compatible with the most recent version of Android(!). This message was not shown at the end of the installation process from Google Play.
I am running Android 14 on a Samsung S23+.
For the time being I live with the fact that Google Play keeps suggesting updates, everything else is working nicely, but could you please fix this issue with the Amazon version of Plex? Thanks!
Best regards
