Using iPad airplay to a Sonos One for my music collection with Plexamp which works fine but adjusting the graphic equalizer does nothing to the music playback. Just wondering if it should work. Thanks
I’m not 100% sure how it works with AirPlay, but if you’re using the Plex Sonos integration, the Sonos service takes over the stream directly from the server, and Plexamp acts more like a remote control so has no bearing on EQ in this scenario. EQ adjustments can be made in the Sonos app though.

Thanks for the info Simon, makes sense why I can’t use the equalizer connecting to the Sonos.
As another test I thought I would bypass the Sonos ecosystem and connected an android tablet via chrome cast to a Google Home. Was able to play my music OK but the graphic equaliser still did nothing to the output of the music.
I can use the equaliser directly on an iPad or android tablet & hear the change but no good with casting or airplay.
AirPlay is like a direct wire to the speaker. Neither Chromecast nor Sonos operates like that, they stream from the server directly.
