I have Comcast/Xfinity and have no issues. I use a Ceton Infinitv cable card.
Sorry, I’m not accepting that.
Are you using a current version of the Plex server? Without using a very old version, Plex is unable to tune channels.
EPG issues since the new update to Plex server. Channel Matching not matching the guide - Live TV & DVR - Plex Forum
How do you select your channels in setup?
Which Ceton do you have?
What OS are you running the Plex server on?
Accepting what?
I run a Unraid server with Benhex Plex in docker and current version. The Ceton cable card is in the Unraid server. I have a Windows 10 VM running on Unraid and is used for the Ceton. Then I run Ceton Proxy that makes the Ceton look like a HDHome Run tuner to Plex. I also run xteve for other channels and channel data from Schedule Direct using Epg123 that also runs on the Windows VM. I do not use the Plex Guide data.
I have not ran my setup in over a year so I cannot remember how I selected the channels but the channels are imported from Xteve as XMLTV data.
So, you don’t use the Plex EPG but just thought you’d chime in.
I see.
I don’t use Plex guide data but still use the Plex EPG so yes I chime in.
Guide is better, but still no button to return to watching channel.
Oh and the bug when you hit up while watching a TV show it jumps to the very first channel….
Might want to do some reading before you make a stupid comment. There is return to full screen icon in the upper right hand corner of the guide, click on it to return to full screen.
I’ll have to agree. For some reason on the web app on Plex.tv and on a local server, you can indeed return to the most THREE recent channels on a guide but only with a PlexTV provided channels, NOT any channels coming from an OTA, cable, or XML listing. The ability to view or go back to a recent channel should have been a given on the Roku UI when this got rolled out to match the mechanism that is on the web app.
Nice man.
There is nothing I can see under the Android TV.
Sorry, another poster put me a bad mood and should not have taken it out on you.
Make sure you have at least version 8.31.0.31102. I use Android TV as well and it is there. The Web App will not show the combined list until the server is updated to the latest version and I have heard this but have not updated my server yet to verify this.
I see it now. This is the beta version of the app.
