Where does plex pull their channel listings from. My hdhomerun prime have 576 channels available but when i go to map some of them their not listed. Also is there a way to set up one and then duplicate between others instead of going through the whole process on each device?
Gracenote is used for the backend. If you have a HDHR Prime, then I suppose that means you have a cable subscription. When setting up the tuner, you should be able to pick your exact provider. That doesn’t always mean it will match up every channel perfectly, but it should be pretty close. They should all be available, anyway.
Not if they’re encrypted… (though I’m not sure how that’s indicated when you go through the setup process with Plex)
I thought that didn’t matter. Isn’t that what the cable card is for?

I have three prime’s with cable cards. when i go into plex it gives me options of usa and cable only and based on my zip code. however the tuners all pick up 576 channels on the hdhome run side, but plex shows one as 541, 576, 555 so there not even the same in plex. and also i have channels like 374,1172 on hdhome run side but not in plex mapping.
