Guide does not show correct episode length until PMS service is manually restarted

I had previously posted here to try to have this issued addressed, but no progress has been made in the 12 months since I first identified this issue.

Greetings. On Monday of this week, some of the episodes of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airing at 11:00 PM EST on channels 190/690 this week had the incorrect episode length: 30 minutes. As I had to do previously, I manually restarted the Plex Media Server service manually, and after the restarting the server, the Guide for all the episodes for the week had been corrected to have the correct episode length: 45 minutes. All of the episodes of The Daily Show with Trevor Noah airing at 11:00 PM EST next week have the incorrect episode length again: 30 minutes. In order to correct this, I will need to restart the Plex Media Server service manually again next Monday.

Thank you for all the diagnostics. I can see that the scheduler got a 45 minute duration after the relaunch whereas it was 30 min before. Could be some Plex Media Server cached data issue

I see that the server runs normally for many days before restart - so could be that initial EPG data has 30 minute duration and gets corrected later on schedule refreshes but the recordings data does not get updated until restart.

I will refer this to the Plex Media Server team

PS: An EPG refresh now after restart of Plex Media Server would show all as 45 minutes apart from the airing for the 13th December which shows 30

Suggest you have a scheduled Plex Media Server restart every 3 days until this is addressed

Basically - it is incorrect information initially that is getting corrected later

A fix for this was released yesterday in Plex Media Server beta 1.30.2.6563
