I’ve been having an issue for a little bit with live tv using a local XMLTV file.
I am running xTeVe and PMS (currently on the beta stream, but, I have had this issue for a while including when I Was using the stable builds, using alder lake now) and I have passed in the xTeVe folder to plex so I can access the xmltv file directly. (I also tried creating a copy directly in the PMS folder)
It seems like this issue is periodic, but, the majority of the time when I add a DVR or refresh the guide plex goes into a crash/restart loop for a long time. Eventually it will resolve itself with time (a lot of the time, out of frustration, I’ll delete the dvr so others can access my library and just use my laptop/vlc for live tv). What is weird is sometimes it will refresh the guide first try and super quick, but, most of the time it causes the repeat crash.
In the logs a crash report is mentioned, but, nothing is created in the folder.
I only have 109 channels active.
Has anyone else had issues with loading an XML guide and got it fixed, or is this just something I have to continuously flip the coin with? (I have had a couple issues with my server crashing occasionally that I can only attribute to plex/liveTV as I have not seen a crash like this when I have the DVR removed)
