Seeing the same behavior. I agree it should revert to the channel last selected. Server: 1.25.5.5492 Player: 8.29.0.30300-beta

Is this tied back to the plex app or server? Curious if there is a way to revert back one of those until it is resolved?

I can confirm the beta resolves the issue. I can click back and I am taken back to the guide at the channel I am on.
