About 9:15 AM this morning, I noticed email messages that a new device was used to sign in to our PLEX.TV account. There had been 8 accesses from various location around the world within 12 minutes. When I went in to reset the password, someone had already beaten me to it so I could no longer log into PLEX.TV. They effectively hijacked our PLEX.TV account.
Detail:
Within a span of 12 minutes, people started accessing the account from:
• 7:02 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India - IP address:103.212.141.150
person: Vimol Mayekar
address: R No 1 Sewa Sadan Chawl Rawalpada , santosh

• 7:03 Hyderabad, Telangana, India - IP address:49.206.214.144
• 7:04 Phoenix, Arizona, United States - IP address:192.200.158.22

• 7:08 Password Change
• 7:14 Najaf, An Najaf, Iraq - IP address:37.236.166.26
At 9:43 AM, I found a back door into the account using my Facebook login so I got in and hijacked it back from them. (Or so I believe)
I have no idea why they would do this or what they were after however, now my PLEX server isn’t working so I am installing the new 7/3/2020 version.
Just finished doing that and no difference. The message I get is:
PLEX SERVER IS UNAVAILABLE
Verify you have a network connection and that the server is online, or see our troubleshooting tips for further assistance.
Is there a chance that my changing the password has affected this?
Is the password for PLEX.TV different than the PLEX Server different from the PLEX app? (I’m confused.)
