If you have a jailbroken aTV2 why not just install PlexConnect directly upon it?

apt-get -y install git; rm -R /Applications/atvjailbreak; cd /Applications; git clone git://github.com/wahlmanj/atvjailbreak.git; cd /Applications/atvjailbreak; ./installatv.bash

I believe iBaa’s method needs a python update:

HI
I knew i had done something like that in the past but was not sure til you mentioned it.

I have just tried and get back an error no idea what to do ??

@wahlman.j

Rebooted my modem and server and tried again and it has worked no idea why.
So onto my next issue :frowning: I have the Plex icon and i have logged in and connected with PMS one in the home and Amazon Cloud.
All my content is there and accessible all until i try to play one! The player comes on to start then just stops and screen goes black or it sticks on 1st frame of show/film.

Here is log

Also Settings.cfg is here

I am also getting PlexConnect cannot be found when i click back; does do it all the time.

Also PlexConnect seems ver very slow than it used to be before

Dale

Post what happens when you use this command again:

apt-get -y install git; rm -R /Applications/atvjailbreak; cd /Applications; git clone git://github.com/wahlmanj/atvjailbreak.git; cd /Applications/atvjailbreak; ./installatv.bash

Hi

See here

You got your server working yet?

-l, --local to clone from a local repository

-4, --ipv4 use IPv4 addresses only
-6, --ipv6 use IPv6 addresses only

-sh: ./installatv.bash: No such file or directory

this is not correct:

apt-get -y install git; rm -R /Applications/atvjailbreak; cd /A pplications; git clone git://github.com/wahlmanj/atvjailbreak.git cd /Applicatio ns/atvjailbreak; ./installatv.bash

This is correct:

apt-get -y install git; rm -R /Applications/atvjailbreak; cd /Applications; git clone git://github.com/wahlmanj/atvjailbreak.git; cd /Applications/atvjailbreak; ./installatv.bash

see how “Applications” is misspelled twice and there is a “;” missing in-between one of the commands.
