Handbrake vs MCEbuddy (file size)

Greetings,

I recently switched my Plex server from Mac to Windows, and am exploring all the tools. I’m a long time Handbrake user, but I think I have MCEbuddy figured out. Except I don’t understand why transcodes from MCEbuddy can end up larger (779 MB vs 1.04GB) than Handbrake encodes of the same 42 minute show. And I couldn’t get the original AC3 audio in the MCEbuddy files, except for from 1 preset, even though I selected multi-channel in the settings.

What’s going on here? What are some things I need to look at?
