In Windows the QuadHD actually reports as two dual tuners and the DualHD reports as dual tuners as well. So three (3) dual tuners total.
Both of these devices are coming off the same antenna.
Why do two of the devices see 43 channels and the other sees 45 channels? (see attached pic)
When I setup all three devices, they all see the same channels, but one is reporting an extra two (2) channels that I cannot find once I go to setup that device. Not an issue, just curious if anyone has an idea/guesstimation on the difference.
I have deleted the tuners from Plex, re-added them and re-scanned. Same results.
I wonder if the original dual tuner is tweaked a little different than the newer quad tuner. But, I am thinking the 2 xtra channels should still be listed once I setup that device. I could not find a way to tell which tuner reported by Plex went to Quad vs Dual without unplugging one of them.

The quad divides the signal 4 ways so it is just a little less sensitive than the dual. You could try an amplifier.

Thanks. I will add one in and see how it does. Since I am splitting the signal seven (7) ways it may have had an effect on the signal from the antenna.
