Hardware acceleration on NAS devices

Hey :smile:

I’m wondering if or when the hardware acceleration feature will be available for NAS devices?

We’ve got a Synology DS916+ which seems to have a capable processor (Intel Pentium N3710 quad-core). So it’d be nice to have this feature, since the DS starts getting crazy at 3 simultaneous streams :o

Where can I check which Plex server version I have? I’d think I downloaded the 64bit, but you never know :smile:

Hmmm interesting… the first line of the server log says:

Oct 22, 2017 10:50:30.913 [0xf3111b40] INFO - Plex Media Server v1.9.5.4339-46276db8d - synology DiskStation i686 - build: linux-synology-i686 synology - GMT 02:00

Can’t I just install the 64 bit package from plex.tv? Or will this erase my database (which I would rather not have :smile: )
