I am trying to use my Harmony remote, everything is working fine but I want the screen to be a numberpad. I noticed setting my device to a Raspberry Pi does not give me the option to show a numberpad much like a cable box or other device does.
What devices are people with Harmony remotes using, I just assumed using the Pi since its the actual device... All my button mappings work fine.
Main reason for this is so with Plex Home I can type instead of scroll and make it visible to all.

I'm just putting together a 'How To' for Harmony remotes for use with both CEC and the Remote Pi Board, hopefully this will be up on the forum next week.

thanks, I think my issue doesn't stem from it not working as much as the device Raspberry Pi on the Harmony Remote doesn't give you the numberpad option. I was thinking about making my Pi a TV Receiver and mapping all the functionality anyways to see if a numberpad option becomes available for my selection. The Harmony Ultimate One doesn't have a numberpad, only a Touch numberpad, just can't select the option to turn it on with that device selected it appears.

I've currently got mine set up and a Windows Media Center remote IIRC (I may actually have used the remote that came with my IR sensor to program it though too, but it was a generic WMC remote). This worked for pretty much everything except next/previous chapter which I fixed by adding a Lircmap.xml file to the userdata folder with:
KEY_NEXT
KEY_PREVIOUS
Perhaps the same could be done to get the number buttons to work as well, I guess I haven't really had a lot of call to use them so I haven't tried.
I use a Harmony Smart Control where the remote has a numberpad. It works via CEC and sometimes I am able to input my Plex Home PIN using it, but sometimes it doesn't work. I haven't worked out why it is so inconsistent.

Hey Ned, have you posted the ‘How To’ for the harmony remotes? I’m having issues getting fast forward and rewind to work with the Remote Pi Board.
I’m having issues with Flirc, Harmony and 0.7 on a RPi2. On 0.6 FFwd/Rewind worked (skip forward/back). On 0.7 no longer. Regressing to 0.6 returns function. 15s step back/forward still work so substituted these until sorted. I’ll have a look on github and see if anyone has submitted a bug report.
Other than this minor issue 0.7 is great. I’m going to put my nuc on e-bay as no longer needed.

I also have been unsuccessful in getting the FF/RW to work. I tried to fire off the daemon via ssh on the PI to have the IR receiver learn the remote codes, but it always timed/errorred out. Hopefully Ned can shed some light on the process.
