This feature is supposed to be there, but I haven’t had it working once. I run PMS on a Synology ds1515+ which also houses the iTunes library. Last import yielded a few empty playlists with the same names and clicking on gives me an error, so now I have a lot of cruft instead. Most playlists didn’t show up at all though. I’ve searched the forums and there seems to be a lot of people having issues with this.
I’ve used iTunes for 15 years and have a lot of old, carefully curated playlists that I want to keep, but Plex doesn’t let me. Ideally I could import my own m3us and be done with it. I really want to quit iTunes and have all my non-streamed music in Plex instead, especially with the new Plexamp available.
Any ideas?
