It was inevitable that in an attempt to cut costs, certain key issues would inevitably get neglected. Here’s the scenario:
Over many years now, I have created some absolutely fabulous playlists on iTunes which I now want to transfer to PLEX so that I can play them from my Synology NAS. having successfully copied all of my music from iTunes to my NAS (my entire music library), and being a fully paid-up member of PLEX, I was expecting to find that my playlists had also been transferred precisely as I was used to having them in iTunes. I had checked the box when creating my new music library in PLEX. Suffice to say that this has not happened, so now I have all my music in PLEX, BUT NO PLAYLISTS, rendering my new PLEX library virtually useless. I have over 50 playlists, ranging in size from 50 tracks to 1400 tracks, and so recreating them in PLEX is not an option.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME BY EXPLAINING HOW I TRANSFER MY ITUNES PLAYLISTS TO PLEX. I have been struggling with this for many months now and so far have drawn a blank. It’s at times like these that I’d love to hear a human on the other end of a phone.
Having searched the forum, I haven’t yet come across this issue being discussed…maybe I’ve just missed it. Can someone please point me in the right direction. You can imagine how frustrated I must be having paid for all the bells and whistles precisely so that I can transfer my playlists from iTunes.
HELP!
It’s clear from the forums that this is a widespread issue, so PLEX, can you once and for all solve this issue before you have us all heading for the door!!!
