Has scanning for Local Media/Credits Listing been fixed?

That does not claim the server. Follow the procedure in the linked article.

how about making two seperate strings of FriendlyName, one on the original machine and then one on the clone machine. I only added this reg entry on the Clone system.

This is purely cosmetic and doesn’t change anything about the behaviour. You can add a name later, in the web app.

Pretty self explanatory, it seems to me the only thing you need to do is just login to your account on the Plex.tv to sign in page.

The process has been simplified. From the Windows system tray (that’s the group of icons shown on the bottom right of the screen ne to the clock), find and click on the Plex Media Server icon. You will be shown a menu of options. Select Open Plex... . (This is not a new option, it was already there.) When the server is unclaimed, this action will now open the default web browser and forward you to Plex.tv to sign into your Plex account. Signing into your Plex account in that browser window will then automatically claim your server and link it to that account.

im at a loss man, I just don’t know how to fix this. Also my PS5 is not showing anything anymore so now I think i might have to remove a device in order to reconnect my PS5 to my server.

Do the alternate method with the html file.
Your account still only shows one server, when there should be two.

What device and where?

It says ā€œinitializing plex media serverā€ after removing the reg entries and clicking the HTML file, and its just spinning.

Did you restart your server after removing the registry entries?
Does one of the server run on a Windows Server edition?

Try it to claim as described in this post: Plex install fix for Windows Server (Claim issue)

i think i saw claim appear on the screen for like a split second, but that was it.

The new server is in your account, but something did delete it immediately after you claimed it. I am not sure what caused this. It could be some rogue device or forgotten web page.
Do you still have the page https://app.plex.tv/desktop/#!/settings/devices/all open in any of your web browser windows/tabs/devices? Did you recently remove anything from there?

Shut down your PS5 for now.

yeah I got both PCS open with PMS right now. No i have not removed anything accept those Reg entries and cert file you told me to remove after trying this each time. So I do need to start from the beginning again?

yes quite alot of them

Only anything within the last 30 minutes is relevant.

I just closed everything, all plex tabs and shut down both PMS servers and my PS5 is also shut down. Do you want me to logout of each account or just turn off PMS?

Open the network settings on each server computer.
Inspect the network connection. Determine the computer’s own local IP address.

Compare them. They must be different numbers (at least in the last octet).

Yes the Ipv4 addresses are both different in only the last octec.

The one ending in .222 needs the procedure again.

Ok that is the original source PC where plex was transfered from.

If you want this PC to work as a Plex server, it needs the procedure.
Ensure that you are indeed using the same plex username/password combo as on the other server.
The web browser on that machine might have different data stored and is filling them in automatically when credentials are requested. Verify that it is not the wrong data.

Ok so should i add the string with a different name then the CLONE system this time. This is the PC I have not yet done that to.
