Has scanning for Local Media/Credits Listing been fixed?

Please stop messing with these authenticated devices!
This is nothing you should do, ever, except under special circumstances.

Your PS5 should automatically find your server (the one which is currently linked to your account, IP number .222) as soon as you restart it. If it doesn’t, you can try to sign out of your plex account (inside the PS5 Plex app, not somewhere else!), restart it then sign in again.
If that still doesn’t help, you may have yet another issue with your local network.

There is nothing there though, it just says "watch list, Music, movies and shows, rentals. None of my 108 libraries are being displayed on the device. When I log into the PMS i usually can see them all on the settings page.

and when I go to my PS5 device and click on Media server status, there is no name listed for either of the servers.

Are you signed into the same plex user account on the PS5 Plex app?
Are you using the actual Plex app and not some generic DLNA-compatible player software?

yes im using the PS5 plex app, V. 5.88.1.
This is the app I always use. But I can’t none of my local libraries to display on this device now.

I see all of my Profiles so im assuming i should be on the same user account, yeah.

Have you already tried signing out and back in?
Or “Switch User” to one of your managed users and back to the Admin user.

oh no wait i see what happened. After performing all these procedures for trying to set up two seperate servers, it removed all of my library shared access for each of my profiles, so thats all it is.

Precisely. The new server has a new identity. You need to enter each of your managed user’s “Shares” page and grant them access to the new server.

Side question: why that many libraries?

I have a huge database of various different storage devices that all have seperate data on them.

You are aware that you can easily add several storage locations to one library in Plex, right?
So there is no need to replicate the structure of your data storage in Plex’s libraries.
All that should be important is the type of media item.
Like Series, Movies, Music.
Maybe some additional sections with private videos, or for special interests, like e.g. Anime, or hobby-related things.

Yeah damn it still doesn’t pick up storage files on both machines. I just tested it out, i picked library from PC1 and a library PC2, the machine that its connected to now works, but the other libraries just says “file unavailable”

I was not aware that you should be able to access both machines now. Nothing changed in this regard. You still have only one server on your account, hence you have only access to the libraries in one server.

Yeah, but i can switch it. I can stop PMS on the old computer and start PMS on the new machine and it should pick up the other server/computer. but again right back where we started, it doesn’t solve anything because I still want to be able to access both servers simuntaniously.

No, that is not how it works. It only worked that way before, because the two machines shared the same identity.
Which is what we have separated now.

oh so then how do I connect it back to my other computer then?

You don’t.
Until you investigate the avenue of windows file shares and add the media on these to your new Plex server. That means then all media are listed on one server, while technically the media files of one half of them are stored on another machine.

this is not good because I really would prefer to have it accessed on my new machine, its going to have most of my media files. The older machine has 2 hard drives that are not able to be installed into the new computer. But the new computer which its not connected to now, will have the majority of my media files.

Didn’t you say that the machine .222 is the new one?
It is the only server now in your account, so it should appear in all your Plex clients and all media on it should be available.
All >100 libraries’ worth
(think about re-granting access permissions to all your managed users)

No, its 120. Thats my new machine.
