I recently got DVR support enabled in Plex (with a HDHomerun Connect) and discovered that trying to schedule recordings in the Android app caused the app to crash (when pressing the red record button on any episode/film). Scheduling in the web interface works as normal in my setup.
At first I figured it was a temporary problem with the App but after doing some research I’m now wondering if it ever worked. With an online archive I bisected through the versions of the Android app since DVR support was added and they all crash in the same way. Figuring it could be my phone (Galaxy S7 running Android 7.0) this evening I did some investigations on different versions of Android emulators (version 6.0 and 7.0 on x86 and Arm targets) and they all crash at the exact same point too.
Hoping someone here may be able to shed some light.
Does scheduling recordings on Android work for anyone?
