A bit more on this - given that Hauppauge DCR also runs SiliconDust SW (typo above, sorry!). Using my web browser, I can see the full channel lineup at http://192.168.204.17/lineup.xml (or json as well) … and funny enough, the icon on the tab is SiliconDust … ;). From the channel lineup I tried one of the entries, for example http://192.168.204.17:5004/auto/v4 => media player opens, and the video streams. Perfect!
But, when I try to use this from Plex, even entering the IP address manually … I get the message “Could not communicate with device”. Thoughts?

Beta 2 works great with my Hauppauge card - thanks! Just one minor thing … it shows it as 3 tuner, but it’s really 2-tuner.

I have my fingers crossed that at some point they will be able to support the Hauppauge Colossus 2 or something with an IR remote and component/hdmi in.
At least where I live up here in Canada, I can only get 5 OTA channels

So it looks like the dcr 2650 was working at some point.
It just so happens I recently canceled cable and pulled the 2650 out of mothballs and was wondering if it would work with plex for ota channels
Any of you all still around and using it.
