Having issues playing some MKV files

This problem started happening a week ago. I am having issues playing MKV files, MKV created from DVD wont play, MKV created from blue rays will play.,
I haveing these issues from chrome and the roku plex app. Everything seems to play fine on the Tablet and phone app.

I have roughly 2000 titles and all of them worked 2 weeks ago.

I too see the same behavior with some MKV files. The same files play with VLC and Jellyfin just fine. I tried several configurations (disable direct play/stream, change quality, etc) to no avail.

Updated MKV transcoders seem to have issues and hope this could be resolved in the next releases. In the mean time, we’d appreciate any suggestions and workarounds.
