Having some issues with Tags and poster art

So I’m having some issues. I’ve tried a few things, searched in the forum’s, but I’m not finding any answers, so please forgive me if these issues are simple things and I’m just missing them.
First is tagging of TV shows. I’m creating a collection of James Bond media. I’ve got all the movies in there, I’ve added music albums, and I’m trying to do TV shows.
I’ve created one collection (or rather, Plex did it automatically). I can see all my movies and music, no matter where I’m looking (in my movies folder, music folder, etc). But TV shows seem to be glitching. I’ve got one TV show in a collection, and when I look in that collection, it shows the TV show, then movies in the collection, then music in the collection.
When I go to the movies folder, it shows the movies, the music, but nothing for TV shows.
I know it must be a setting somewhere, but I can’t figure it out.
The second issue is with Tags. I have 3 TV shows that I’d like to add to the James Bond Collection, so I go into the Tags, but one doesn’t even give have the option on Tags, while the other has that option, but when I click on it, it only allows me to tag a writer and a director!
Any ideas?
The third issue is with posters. When I put in one of my own poster art, it’s not coming up in Plex when I save it. I’m using image size of 680x1000.

I should add that I have done this on other items, and it has worked, so I’m not completely useless!

Is the tv-show collection a smart collection?
From what I remember, regular collections currently don’t show smart collections as related items.

As for tagging… you cannot manually assign a collection tag to episodes (or seasons). You can only assign episodes to a collection using the Add to action from the episode’s context menu.

Not sure about the poster… does Plex show any error message when you attempt to add that poster?

Thanks for the quick reply!
I’m not sure how to check if it’s a smart collection or a regular one. I don’t know what the difference is, which would lead me to believe that I bet you that’s the issue! Haha!

I think I tried to add via the Add To action, but it wasn’t coming up as an option. However, I’ll go back in and double check.

And no, no error message. I have been messing around a bit more, it seems like it make be a bug. The posters show up in the PlayStation Plex app, but not in the media server.

Again, thank you, much appreciated.

Smart collections are based on a filter and will automatically be updated if new items are added that meet the filter criteria. They should display a little white gear icon on a purple circle in the top-right corner of the collection poster.

Thanks, yes, I’ve seen that little white gear! Now I know!
I just went in, and yes, you were correct, I was trying to add them as episodes or seasons, etc. I had to go into the main library and tag the whole show, so thanks so much for that!

You can have collections of seasons or episodes – however you can only create them using the Add to option from their context menu.

Thank you. I think I’ve figured it out. Even the posters. It was because I was trying to edit the individual episodes (it’s because they are one episode series, that’s why I was getting confused!), but now they are tagging correctly and the posters are showing up.
Appreciate the help, thank you.
