Hello everyone!
I’m using Plex Media Server on a Raspberry Pi 4B, with dietpi OS.
I mostly play my files on a Xiaomi Mi Box 3, using Kodi and the plex add-on. The Box is connected to my TV via an AVR.
Everything runs mostly smoothly, except when i play 4K files with HD audio (DTS HD). The audio starts stuttering a bit, generally after 30 minutes of playback. Video is smooth.
Everything is direct play, Kodi runs the audio to my AVR via HDMI passthrough. When i change the audiotrack to the compatibility one (5.1 EAC3), no stuttering.
Weird thing is when i play the file on kodi via DLNA it works like a charm with the DTS HD. RAM and CPU usage are never very high in the console.
Any clues where the problem might be?
