Hdhomerun 4k guide issues

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#: 4.73.3
Tuner Make/Model: hdhomerun flex 4k
Guide/Lineup name: local ota broadcast
Using XMLTV?: no
Channel number/Name: 108, 112, 145, 148

I just upgraded to the hdhome flex 4k and I can not get the guide to work properly for the 4k nextgen channels. I see them but they will not let me select them and choose the correct channel that goes with the channel. It does not even exist when I refresh the guide. I deleted the old DVR and started from scratch as well. I can use the hdhomerun app and watch those channels but that is all I can do. Here is a screeenshot to show you that I don’t have any epg past 48 and I need 108, 112, 145 and 148.

Select the guide data for channels 8, 12, 45, and 48 respectively. You’ll have to disable those lower channels.

I tried that and it will not work, thanks

Will not work in what way? There is no separate guide data for the 1xx channels because those are abstractions created by SiliconDust. Pick the appropriate 8.x, 12.x, 45.x, and 48.x channels to go with your 1xx equivalents. You’ll have to uncheck the corresponding 8.x, 12.x, 45.x, and 48.x channels from the left column to do so.

It will work; you just can’t select the same guide data for more than one channel.

It worked this time. I shut down plex and started it back up and it would let me do as you said above. For some reason when I tried as you said it would just not let me save the changes when I hit the save button. I guess a weird bug. thank you

You’re welcome, glad you got it working!

hahaha now I get no audio from those new channels… Only picture… I guess I have a new issue ugh. not sure if you can help with that?

I almost mentioned that before. We’re still awaiting AC4 support. There are several forum threads about it…

The short version is that it requires licensing and it’s being worked on.
