HDHomeRun app works, but not Plex

After subscribing to Plex pass and adding the HDHomeRun tuner, doing the channel scan. I can see the channels in Plex, but when I go to watch them it just freezes. In most cases it doesn’t even load the picture, but in some cases it will show a screen shot of the picture and not actually start playing when I hit the play button. I don’t have this problem when using the HDHomeRun - the app works perfectly and plays all the channels just fine.

Config:

NAS: QNAP TS-451A hard wired to router (Apple Airport (latest gen))
HD Homerun Connect duo - wired to outdoor HDTV antenna, plugged into an Airport express wifi repeater (because the antenna wiring is not near my router, I have the connect duo in my bedroom plugged into ethernet on an airport express repeater)

Apps tried:
Plex on iPhone 10
plex.tv in web browser on my mac (firefox)
Plex on Amazon FireTV (not the stick, the actual box)

One thing I notice when I go to the homerun tuner in plex settings:
HDHomeRun CONNECT
10.0.1.XXX:80
2 tuners—2 recording now
38 channels—

I don’t know why it says “2 recording now”, I have nothing scheduled.

Should I restart everything?

Same problem here… even if you do “delete DVR” it still doesn’t work. And it doesn’t really get rid of everything either. I wish I could totally clear our the DVR cobwebs and set it up all over again if it would solve the problem… but I don’t know where they are hiding.

I fixed my problem by restarting the NAS Hard Drive that my server runs on. Duh. I so rarely have to restart it so it didn’t occur to me.

Have you tried turning it off and back on again?..

I see to be having similar issues. Tried rebooting without success.

Brand new TS-453a, HDHomeRun Quatro, and having freezing on any Plex DVR playback.
