i have a the same issue after initial channel scan, all shows appear to recording properly server is 10.10.0.xxx and tuner is 10.10.0.xxx subnet of 255.255.255.0 wonder if this is related to some shows not appearing in the guide?
I use the same subnet 10.10.10.xxx. Initial scan works fine. Plex recognized the HDHomeRun device. But then it keeps giving that message “device not found…” I wonder if I have a defective HDHomeRun Connect or this is a flaw with PMS.

They sound like two different issues I think, op cannot find device at all, sounds like plex saw your device at some point? Not sure whay is happening wiyh yours, Have you updated firmware, checked the channels from an app outside of plex?
I think it is the same issue. I tried everything, update, restart, reinstall, rescan, use dhcp then static ip. None worked. PMS sees the device initially but then gives “device not found…” message again.

Yep I’ve run into this a number of times. After a few days of working perfectly fine I’ll get this error in my Plex DVR setup. During that time nothing has changed in the network and even the IP addresses of all the devices are the same as I have them under DHCP reservation.
To fix the issue only I need to do is quit the PMS on my Mac and start it again and bingo fixed. Interestingly restarting the the HD homerun has no effect, only restarting PMS. Also at no point do any other apps (e.g. channels on my Apple TV) have trouble finding or communicating with the HDHR so it’s something to do with PMS losing the plot.
Same problem I am having. Except even with restarting PMS, it sees the device but then lose it moments later. Although, just like you described, other apps have no problem finding HDHR.
Probably this is a glitch?
