HDHR - Device not found

Hi,

I’m using plex with plex pass and the HDHomeRun, and notice that when i go into the Live TV & DVR settings that it says “Device not found. Ensure your device is powered on and connected to your network” for my HDHomeRun.

This being said, everything is working, and I can watch and record shows…so not sure why this error message shows up.

btw i’m using plex version 1.13.9.5439 on ubuntu server

I changed your title to make it clearer what the issue is.

Check if the IP for your HDHR changed? Give it a static IP like you do for your server.

Thanks for the suggestion. I already have an ip reservation for it on my router, and the up is resolvable. I’ve tried deleting it and readding it, but after a while it always goes back to device not found, even thought it’s working with plex

Did you try restarting the HDHR? I’ve had mine freeze up a few times.
