Question. I am in the Mountain time zone. So when I subscribe for Premium will they supply me with the East Coast or West Coast subscription ? Ideally if it’s West Coast I can use the 90210 zip and the AT&T UVerse information and I’ll be good to go.
I think you are going to be fine. Looks like all other channels in the pacific time zone column are national. The problem for us non-pacific customers is that they have an Eastern Time Zone selection for us that is mixed with programming from the pacific coast causing our guides for those channels to be 3 hours off.
Added my vote for more visibility in hopes Plex will come up with a solution. The way the channel matching works really makes this unworkable in current form. I can choose Local OTA channel list, which matches all my locals, but none of the HDHomeRun Premium channels. Using a local cable list will match most of the Premium channels, but only the main OTA channels and none of the x.2, x.3, etc.
It really does seem a bit of a cluster right now ! I wish the guys from Plex would come up with even a beta fix and until they do I am loathed to subscribe to the premium channels.
But what happens with the OTA channels, if I load up Pacific time for the premiums, won’t it assume my networks are also West Coast ?
Ok, so I’m running a cable card on a HD Prime, and the Duo, I cant seem to get the new channels to show up in the plex interface even after changing the OTA tuner to cable. It only shows the channels in Plex that are actually coming in over the air. I did all the firmware upgrades and add / removed them etc. In the HD Homerun channel list, I do see all the channels… What am I doing wrong??
Did you delete and then re-add the DVR in the Plex server settings?
Yes, and still they dont show up.

Service will work in US only currently (Canada coming soon) on all HDHomeRun CONNECT and HDHomeRun EXTEND models.
I have a Connect Duo, and I live in Florida.
I just updated to Plex 1.13.7.5369 and have the HDHomeRun Extend. I’ve deleted the DVR in Plex and re-added but don’t see the premuim channels. I’ve tried changing to Cable but then I get no channels at all.
I’d have expected something from Plex to the effect that this is being worked on by now.
Have you signed up for the service? The demo channels don’t show up at all.
I am now using Plex Version 1.13.7.5369 with paid HDHOMERUN Premium TV so it actually mostly works, far better than the previous 3 beta releases, ignoring the guide mess for now. Unfortunately, the long ago fixed audio out of sync with video problems are back and in spades for the premium TV channels (maybe 15+ seconds) even though the OTA channels are in sync (at least within maybe 250ms).
If you use Play On, you actually can record from DirectTVNow.
I’m having exactly the same issues. HDHomeRun Extend. Will play in the HDHomerun App, but searching for cable isn’t working.
Resolved the issue.
So after I got the email and associated my DVR, I did a hard reboot of the device. That didn’t change anything.
I reopened HDHomeRun Setup Application and in the “Digital Antenna” tab I clicked scan and then it populated with all the OTA and Premium channels. I saved that. Went to Plex and did a channel scan and got all the channels. Used the existing guides to progress beyond that point. Best of luck rl4162
same concerns here, Schedules Direct does support the East and West HDHR premium channels via json, but for some reason their OTA xml output confuses plex into thinking shows are movies and wont allow you to schedule recurring recordings or put them into the TV shows Library… Oh but the Premium channels work perfectly. It would be amazing if I could use plex OTA scraper for antenna channels and SD’s Lineup for premium, or build in the premium along with the internal OTA?
Very agree… ~15 Seconds off…
Has there been any change on the official guide data for HDHomeRun Premium TV?
Maybe a timeline of availability yet?
From Plex? They don’t do those…
