Hi, I can see (and play) the channels on the HDHomeRun App, but not in plex. 872 and 873 for example (below) is there a way to adjust this? there are found turning the scan channels but not displayed and “checking the box” does allow for a corresponding channel
Did you search the list for disney xd hd. If its not there, i would map it to disney xd standard and not use the standard channel in the list. Dont pay attention to the channel number in the list only the name.

I am not sure exactly what you mean… The HDHOMERUN Extend says:
The channel for Disney XD HD is 873, as does Plex.
The Channel for Disney XD Standard also, can’t beselected
I have a similar issue with PBS here. The ‘pilot’ channel is listed in the guide channels, the sub channels are not. The SD choices are not the same station, in fact not even from the area. But since they are the proper timezone and ‘network’ (Excite, World) I used those SD channels as the guide channel for the stations.
If there were more info on using xml I’d likely switch to that.
I’m surprised the Extend is working at all with a cable service since it is intended for OTA and not cable. The HDHR Prime is the device for use with cable TV service. You can look in the Plex Media Server log files to see how Plex is determining the channels for selection.
What zip code are you in? Have you tried selecting a different cable provider during the setup? For instance in my area there are three different selections for Time Warner Cable.
