On Monday I noticed over the weekend my regular recordings did not happen. TV guide was still present but wouldn’t play any live TV. Restarted the docker and that didn’t resolve. Deleted the homerun and now plex won’t add it in. From a second server I hooked up the homerun no problem. Scanning the logs it looks like something has happened in the database.

DVR:Device: Error refreshing existing device device://tv.plex.grabbers.hdhomerun/12519D7E, marking as dead.

Looks like its trying to add the homerun back in but can’t because it thinks its there already?

any pointers before I start trying to hacking the db?

Pull the power on the Quattro.

You could shut down Plex and remove the EPG db files and see if the Server will complete removing the DVR otherwise restore your last db backup and try again. Restore a Database Backed Up via 'Scheduled Tasks' | Plex Support

Already tried bouncing the homerun and plex. I can’t see any EPG or DVB files in the database folder which is why I was thinking look at the actual database

When I looked at the logs it shows that the DVR wasn’t fully removed but no database corruption messages. You could try to repair the current DB or use the last backup which is probably the better option.

Sorted it! Bit of a strange one! Changed IP address to see if that would make things kick into life but still wouldn’t do the job. Didn’t want to restore the database so went the db hack route. Media Provider Resources seems to be the baby! Removed the entries from the table but still wouldn’t work. Logs saying it couldn’t find the homerun. Did a ping from the docker and it can’t ping the homerun or in fact anything. Even though plex was working fine. Recreated the docker and boom!
