Right now my Plex server things it is recording on 2 out of three tuners.
When I log in to my HDHomeRunPrime it is currently not tuned to anything.
One the Plex server things it is recording on 3 out of the 3 tuners I’m no longer able to access any channels on my devices.
This happens on the beta and public builds. The Plex server always thinks it is recording on more tuners than it is actually using. Why is this happening?
Anyone one else having this issue? I’m noticing that if Plex thinks it is recording a channel I’m unable to play that channel via the Plex app or via Roku.
I periodically get tuning errors when using Plex with my HDHomeRun Prime. Just last night it was supposed to record Gotham; we were just watching recorded shows - no live TV at all. We kept seeing an error that Plex could not tune in the channel and that the recording failed. I used my HDHomeRun software to tune the same channel while Plex was failing. Something is wrong with the way Plex uses the tuner. I also periodically get the “weak signal” error when watching TV and I cannot tune specific channels (they vary) unless I close the Plex app and start over. Very frustrating.
I’m having very similar issues with my HDHomeRun Connect Quattro. Plex often reports tuners in use which aren’t, channel tuning is slow and often fails too.
Having the Exact same issue and it appears that there has been no resolution. Can we get a moderator or someone from Plex support on this feed so we can get a resolution? @BigWheel
