I have 2 HD Home Run Prime tuners configured for Plex DVR. I am running latest Version 1.7.6.4058. When I try to record 3 shows simultaneously - no problem. When I try to record the 4th show - I get a message that says the recording failed. If I try to watch any live TV while those 3 recordings are in process - I get a similar failure.
Screenshot below shows that the first device has all 3 tuners in use - and the second device has none in use:

I have attached my server logs which I captured just after this problem occurred.
Would like to know if this is just a current limitation of Plex Server with this particular model of HD Home Run? I notice that with the latest version some folks are reporting success getting tuners used across multiple HD Home Run devices but not this particular model - at least none reported that I have seen in this forum thus far.
They need to really fix the Sharing and using the HDHR the proper way … but it appears that this is on the back burner. I cannot really use the PLEX DVR at the moment because I need to watch DRM using other Apps and PLEX does not share tuners properly. I am sure the Silicon Dust people will be more than glad to help with this.

Yeah I have a number of Tivo minis and Tivos that I would like to replace with Plex and multiple HD Homerun primes - football season I use a lot of tuners
But the current problem is preventing me from being able to make that switch.
The multiple tuners is a new problem with 1.7.x It was working for me prior to 1.7x. I have recorded 9 things simultaneously in the past and now I get mysterious errors if I record more than 3.
Same here. I want to move over to using the Plex DVR but this limitation makes it a no-go for me. I have 2 extends and a connect and I can’t use it as it exists now. It may be a no-go even when they fix this if they leave the recordings at only .ts files instead of .mkv that it was doing. You can’t skip through commercials if they are .ts files.
