HDMI Cuts Out

So I have been using the new player on Xbox one. My library is mostly 480p mp4 h264/aac5.1 content.

I have noticed the buffering like many others but I have also noticed something else. Occasionally, it appears that the entire HDMI signal cuts out. Both audio and video. My TV shows the no input signal message. Sometimes it flickers back and forth between playback and source signal lost. It always eventually resumes playback, so far anyway.

I have not seen this using the YouTube or Amazon instant video apps.

The source videos play back normally when played on an old Samsung smart TV variant of plex.

Odd sounding issue but I don’t think it could be related to the app. If video totally cuts out and the no input signal shows up then it’s likely an issue with the console itself or perhaps a bad cable?
