Im using an older 32" Westinghouse TV with a 512mb Pi. the tv is a 720p lcd and is at least 6 years old.
the red color spectrum is missing. Ive tried multiple hdmi cables and tried all the possible adjustments on the tv to no avail.
Im sure this has nothing to do with the software itself, but i wondering if there was anything i cold try.
the tv outputs normal color with an xbox 360 and ota tv.
Anything i could try?
I don't think you've isolated the problem, because you are connecting the same pi to the same TV, using the same software set.
Try connecting the pi output to a different TV. If it works there, the problem is not the pi or the software. If it doesn't, try a different software release. If that doesn't work either, it may be that the pi HDMI output is defective.

I have tried two Pis (other was an old 256 model b running rasbian). I have also used both of the pis on a newer display.
And again the westinghouse has normal color quality with other devices.
Strange right?
