Sreen flickers

Hi!

Since Rasplex 1.0.3 (at least, I think it is since the upgrade) my screen sometimes flickers. It happens on the settings menu but also while playing a movie. It’s quite annoying, especially when watching a movie.

My Pi2 is connecten to my TV with HDMI. No problems with the sound.

Any ideas?

Sounds like a dodgy HDMI cable or socket, have you tried swapping the cable?

I am having something similar just installed 1.0.3 on my Raspberry pi 3 and I noticed that my screen every so often while watching movies goes black for about 2 seconds and comes back. When I removed my Raspberry pi 3 and replaced it with my raspberry pi 2, running 1.0.2, I do not have this issue.

Any Suggestions?

Hi Ned,

Those cables are in there for months without touching them. However, I switched them so I’ll come back to you after the weekend :slight_smile:

Problem seems to be solved with the switched cables. No flickering anymore…
However my STB doesn’t seem to have problems with this cable. But it’s fine like this :slight_smile:

Could be colour depth issues between Rasplex and your TV?
