I would like to feed PLEX an HDMI video source similar to how it handles a DVR.
I have a PLEX server/player in my home theatre rack, which also has other video sources. I want to be able to take an HDMI out from my matrix switcher and get it into PLEX somehow. This way, I could pull any video source into PLEX, such as a bluray disc or a security camera. I’m assuming this would be done through a AV over IP encoder, similar to how DVR is done through a tuner.
Has anyone done this or know how it could be done?
