It would be nice to have the HDR to SDR tone conversion on a per-device/user basis instead than for the whole mediaServer, i have an HDR monitor at home but my phone and laptop doesn’t support HDR, so it would be really convenient to say “this account/device uses HDR to SDR tonemapping and this other device don’t”

I have only tried the tonemapping once I think, but I would assume that PMS would be smart enough (at least it should be) so that it will only do tonemapping when it is an HDR source and it is being sent to a non-HDR display or if it is transcoded (as HDR would be lost then anyway with the lack of h.265 transcoding). Anyone feel free to correct me if I am incorrect.
From my experience these past few days, it doesn’t seems to be smart enough to do so.
Granted Windows HDR support is bad to stay gentle 
With HDR to SDR disabled and HDR enabled on windows, when i move the slider for the SDR display, it affects the media played in Plex even though it’s 100% HDR and displays as expected when played in another player such as VLC
