HDR to SDR Tonemapping Web Player

When playing HDR content through the browser (Firefox 135.0.1) and the Video Quality is set to Maximum it will not tone map the video to SDR from HDR even though the device isn’t HDR capable. Is this by design or do I just need to limit it to 20 Mbps to get the tone mapping done with the transcode?

Firefox now supports HEVC so no transcoding happens anymore, the file is direct played. Because of this Plex cannot Tone Map the content anymore, that needs to be done by the playback device (Firefox in this case).

Compare with Chrome or Edge, they are doing it correctly.
