When playing an HDR-video via direct play, the picture is so dark as to be entirely unwatchable. Enabling transcoding makes the video watchable. The same content works perfectly well with e.g. the Windows-client without any transcoding.
Does Plex even support HDR on Android in the first place?? Or is this a limitation of the specific phone I have? I don’t have any other Android-devices to try with, so I can’t try with anything else. I don’t want to pointlessly transcode something that should work just fine all by itself.
