Help! an unclaimed media server... and can't sign in

When I open Plex in a browser I see: “An unclaimed media server has been found…” and when I try to sign in I get: “Plex is unreachable…” though I can access https://plex.tv with no problem.

This PMS install has been running for a couple of years with no problem whatsoever.

What should I do? I’ve tried different browsers, clearing cookies, cache, etc to no avail. Network settings and router settings have not been changed

same problem here, for some reason but started only today …i thought that i made something wrong when i changed my server machine, now i wait for a developer to give a answer, for the moment what i have done was to uninstall and reinstall the server, for the moment seems to work, but i am not confident till i get a replay from a plex staff member

I think there are intermittent problems connecting to the plex.tv authentication page.

Five minutes ago I opened the Plex Web UI and I was automatically logged in as it should be.

I’ve just tried again and I amn not logged in. When I try Sign in, I get “Plex is unreachable…”

well what i see, is that i am not logged

so i don’t have access to users and devices, server is accessible and remote connection is working

this screen is from Plex Media player, if i access from plex.tv or i use plex UWP is look to be fine

I am not signed in automatically as it used to. When I try to sign in I get:

“Plex is not reachable.
Make sure your server has an internet connection and any firewalls or other programs are set to allow access.”

This though I can access plex.tv without problems

Update: Now it’s working again. I have not changed anything.

My network connectivity to everything is sketchy at best right now, as I live on the east coast and the ISPs have been hammered by the winter storm line that stretches from Florida to Maine. This might be to blame for the issues you are seeing with Plex.

That would be my guess too. As I mentioned in a previous post it looks like some intermittent connectivity problem.

for the moment is look like is back to normal, i am glad to know that is not from my end
