I have been using plex for a few years now without issue. Sorry for the long post but I am trying to give as much detail as possible since I am stumped.
Randomly today (literally used it a few hours prior) I was not able to access my server anymore. Went to my server PC and the plex media server was still running. I right clicked to “Open Plex…” and it take’s me to the site stating “Plex is not reachable” “We are unable to connect to plex.tv at this time. Please try again later.” I than go to try and log into plex.tv on the server pc. The log in screen takes about 2 mins for it to pop up and when I enter my plex info it times out stating “There was a problem signing in to Plex.”
I can log into plex.tv on my normal pc without issue. Any hint of my server looks to be gone when looking around my account.
When trying to log in from my main pc locally it states:
This application is at xxx.xxx.x.xxx and is not hosted by Plex. Continue only if you recognize this server and wish to grant access. When I hit sign in it just asks me to set one of my friends plexes as the main server
I tried turning off windows firewall and made sure no vpns are running with that not helping either. I double checked my plex server version and it seemed to be a version behind so I updated it and still nothing (1.25.3.5409-f11334058). I also tried clearing cookies and cache still nothing. I am 100% stumped and have no idea what is wrong. Any help would be great.
