Help Getting Quick Sync HW Transcoding Working in Ubuntu 20.04

I have Ubuntu Server 20.04 installed on bare metal E3-1285 v6.
The following packages are all installed

There is no render file in /dev/dri

  1. Thanks for the logs but you’ve trimmed out too much. In the future, please provide the entire log set zip
  2. Did you install the binary from the Ubuntu store or from plex.tv/downloads? The SNAP from the Ubuntu store is a container. Containers don’t have access to hardware without special adjustments inside the container.

I install manually with the .deb package. I don’t use snap.

I did just try reinstalling and it says right during the install: PlexMediaServer install: Transcoding HW: Not found

Please attach the plex installer log file.
This is native and not a VM?

Bah. Sorry for wasting your time. I used the wrong motherboard… I have several Supermicro boards here and I grabbed a X11SSM instead of a X11SSH… The M does not support iGPU. Thanks for the support.
