Help I don't understand sonic analysis on my server

Look in the Plex Media Server[n].log (Look at the timestamp of the file and pick the one which has a time stamp which lies closest after the end of the maintenance period.) Search for the term sonic The most interesting lines are like this: DEBUG - [Butler] Sonic analysis group complete (processed: 576/1036). The numbers after “processed” show the progress with done/total.

You can download log files via Settings → Troubleshooting → Download Logs.

You can view the logs in real time via Settings → Console. Filter using “Sonic analysis” or other such terms.
