Help - I formatted my NAS

Server Version#: 1.14.1.5488
Player Version#: N/A

I have a QNAP TS 451+ running my Plex Server. I formatted the NAS without backing up my Plex setup. I have all of my library files still. Is there anyway to re setup my server with the same settings so I don’t lose my library metadata and people I have shared with?

Without a backup of your Plex data (not just the video files) — No.

That’s annoying :face_with_symbols_over_mouth: Is there a way to back up this sort of data to my account for the future or do you have to backup and store on device?

if you have added your users via plex invite, then all your users should be in your plex account still.

then all you need to do is rescan your media and give your users access to the new server and libraries.

Great cheers, just done it. Now I just have to sort through 500+ videos and make sure they’ve matched correctly :frowning:

well if you name them correctly, then they should match without issues.

\movies\moviename (year)\moviename (year).mkv

\tvshows\tvshowname (year)\season 01\tvshowname (year) - s01e01 - episode name.mkv
