From what you’re describing – PMS refusing to claim;
There are a few things which must be working for PMS to claim:
- The syno must be configured to use your modem/router as the Gateway.
- The clock must be synchronized with Internet time (NTP)
Given you’re not seeing the Plex icon, let’s first take care of that.
(You’re probably not using the ‘admin’ account)
This was an improvement we made which went wrong.
It works for some folks but on other DSM systems, it fails miserably.
We have since withdrawn it and all normal functionality will be restored in the next PMS release.
