Hi, I’ve been running my Plex server since 2018, I’ve had a few issues but nothing major like now. I’ve given library access to four users, and since March this year two of them are having the same problem.
On their TV they can start the app, and browse the library, but when they start trying to play a movie the buffing circle spins and then freezes. The app will usually then become unresponsive. This appears happen on movies and TV but it will play music. Myself running local and the other user who is remote have had no issues (Also Samsung TVs).
I’ve tried several things on my end including resetting preferences to default, reinstalling and updating the plex, using hardware acceleration ect. Also tried deleting the app off the TV reinstalling changing the stream quality in setting and allowing Always access to insecure connections. I’m now stuck and not sure what else to try. Wonder if anyone else has any suggestions?
