Help page is inaccurate

Just installed the PMS 1.3.0 update to try the new image tagging. I find that the UI doesn’t quite match the Help instructions for enabling auto image tagging.

There is no “Options” tab when creating/editing a Photo library. The option is on the “Advanced” tab. Also, the option is labeled “Tag photos,” not “Automatically tag my photos!” as the Help page indicates.

One more thing: Many moons ago, I reported that the wizard for creating a Photo Library skips the Advanced tab as you go through the wizard. At the time, my idea was dismissed because there was only one option on the Advanced tab for Photo libraries. Now there are three options, including this new feature, which I presume you don’t want people to miss out on. :wink: I think it would be a good thing to finally fix that issue.

can you take a screenshot of what you are seeing? are you using local or hosted web app? ( though they should be the same )

Clear your browser cache. A few have reported things missing or not correct.

If not, please take the appropriate screen captures showing plex/web and server… (you know the drill haha)

Yup, this is a setting in advanced on older versions of the web client. In new clients we’ve pulled this into a separate panel as posted above. We now ‘next’ to that panel, but still don’t ‘next’ to advanced deliberately. They are settings that we expect most users won’t touch by default.
