I purchased a Plex LifeTime PASS to use the LiveTV & DVR feature, but when I click on settings, Plex returns an unknown error…
This may be related to the server I set up xteve before, but this server is no longer used.
Plex displays the page where the server is offline very quickly, then instantly switches to an unknown error page.I didn’t find any valuable logs in the console.
How to reset or delete LiveTV settings? Otherwise my Plex PASS will be bought in vain ::
Reading through a couple of other threads, it seems a) a bug has been found; b) there is a workaround until the bug is fixed.
The workaround involves manually editing the database. It is also written for a Windows based server, so you’ll have to adapt it for Synology.
Suggest you read both threads thoroughly and make a backup of your database before attempting the workaround.
